Do students need to have any debating experience?

No. We will carefully guide your child from the basics so that they can enjoy debating even if it is their first time. However, because this is an English debate class, students do need a basic ability to understand and communicate in English (listening and speaking).

What are your instructors like?

There are various types of teachers, including native English speakers and Japanese teachers. Instructors are not fixed to a class. They must meet our hiring criteria.

Is there a target age range?

The program is available for a wide range of elementary and middle school students ages 7 and up.

How are class levels defined?

We will suggest the best class for you based on your age, English ability and goals.

What materials will you use?

We will suggest the best class based on your child’s current English level and goals.

Will there be homework?

There is no homework, but we ask students to "study in advance" with videos and materials to deepen their learning in class.

How are the lessons conducted?

Lessons are held online using Zoom. Students can join from a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Is the lesson schedule fixed?

Yes, it is fixed.

What if I have difficulty attending lessons?

Absences up to the day before are accepted. Students may change to another day of the week and time. Students may transfer to another class of the same level within 2 months of the relevant lesson date. Transfer service is limited to once a month.

Can we cancel our booking?

Yes, it is possible. Please let us know by the 20th of the previous month.
